Because the Saudi population is one of the fastest growing in the world and it is expected that there will be 29 million Saudis in 2020 – 50% of Saudis are under 25 years old massive investment will be required to meet the needs of this growing population, creating extensive investment opportunities. Yet, before the returns on investments, and before the financial and economic growth at AIMS, we think of people. We think of the voiceless, therefore, we provide them with one. We think of the less fortunate, thus, we provide them with all means of comfort and bettered living. We think of those in need, consequently, we lend a helping hand and never close our doors to anyone. We think of the part of society which is deprived, underprivileged, and destitute, hence we strive to do what our core values dictate; giving without expecting in return, providing without asking for yields.
In a time when economies succumbed to havoc created by organizations and people who lacked integrity, it might be good to step back and align everyone to the value of integrity. Cultural transformation that ignites and fuels success on all levels of the organization must be initiated. Changes and cultural transformation happen when integrity emanates in the practices of the leaders themselves. The teams at AIMS are influencers and catalysts of changes in the organization; for they firmly believe that to become leaders with integrity they needed to be “consistent in the face of adversity, show consistency in their words and actions,” and “act with authenticity and honesty by speaking the truth, presenting themselves in a genuine way with sincerity, showing no pretence, and taking responsibility for their own feelings and actions.” They also profoundly understood leaders who are brave are those who “act with valour by not shrinking from threat, challenge, difficulty, nor pain.” They “speak up for what is right even when opposition exists” and “act upon conviction despite facing an unpopular environment.”
With a clear perspective, AIMS can see the big picture in terms of business opportunities and challenges, understand the strengths and weaknesses of its competitors, and make decisions that position the organization for long-term success without forgetting its own and others’ motives and feelings, and have the agility to adapt its behaviour to what the situation dictates.
The future looks very bright from where AIMS is standing. The targets are within sight and nothing seems impossible at this stage.
The best is yet to come…
